Clyde W. Findley, of Mason, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 72. Clyde was born Friday, April 11, 1947 in Lakewood, Ohio to Walter W. and Betty J. (nee Young) Findley, older brother to his beloved sister Karen.
Growing up in Montana – Clyde developed a passion for outdoor adventure. An avid traveler and outdoorsman – he was known for finding unique sporting opportunities around the world. An active member of local sportsman clubs, he was happiest when he could spend his winters at the bird club, summers on the trapshooting circuit, and fill the rest of his year chasing geese around Canada, tracking prairie dogs out west, or fishing for his next big catch.
A veteran of the United States Army, Clyde served four tours during the Vietnam War. A graduate from the University of Cincinnati, he was an accomplished entrepreneur and business executive. Though Clyde held many formal ranks and titles during his lifetime – his most notable achievement was holding the title of dad.
Clyde is survived by his loving children: daughter, Elizabeth (Jason) Martin; son, Brad (Kymberli) Findley; four grandchildren: Mitchal, Lilah, Emery and Eden; sister and confidant, Karen (Keith) Chrissinger; beloved dog, Cash; and many amazing family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, Norwood Lodge #576 will be conducting Masonic Services with the Memorial Service beginning at 2:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Military honors will follow.
