Scholarship Application

The deadline to submit an application for 2024 scholarship consideration is MARCH 11, 2024.

WHO QUALIFIES: Ohio residents who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen. Students are awarded only once for this scholarship.

TO APPLY: Complete the application and include an essay outlining your plans and goals for college and beyond.

Your application must include:

  • A letter of recommendation from your Zone Director and/or gun club official
  • Your 5 x 7 photograph
  • A copy of your High School transcript

In addition, letters of recommendation from your shooting coach, school counselor, principal, teachers, clergy, and employer if applicable are strongly encouraged. Also include a brief history of your involvement in shooting.

 CRITERIA FOR SELECTION: Grades(GPA), ACT/SAT scores, past involvement in the shooting sports, extracurricular activities, community service/volunteerism, and need will all be considered in selecting scholarship recipients.

2023 Scholarships

The 2023 Foundation scholarships were awarded to Tuff Hutchins from Fredericktown, and Teagan Arter from Leetonia, They each receieved $2,500.00 to help further their education. Tuff plans to major in agriculture systems management and Teagan is planning a career in Pharmacy.
